‘Hello World' - Fáilte
Back in the early 1970s or so, in the early days of programmable computers and their languages, Hello World was a sort of test message that the programmers would run, and it is still in popular use today. Fáilte on the other hand must have its roots in ancient Irish. I suppose that is apt for The Steeple, where old and the new meet. In case hello and welcome!
With a little bit of unexpected free time this weekend, I finally had a chance to get the first draft of this little website up and running for ár Steeple. Isn't it funny the way things work out sometimes, best laid plans as they say… though I don't recall how that saying ends. But I suppose the world has its way.
Happy new year to you all. Wishing you the very best for 2020. Athbhliain faoi shéan is faoi mhaise daoibh.
